Requests are closed...permanently

Ok, I'd hate to do this to you all, but I'm shutting requests down for good. I know I said in the previous journal that I would reopen again once the list of requests was finished, but honestly, I just cannot stand the thought of reopening requests again (and getting completely swamped with them...AGAIN). It's the last thing I want to do, because to be completely honest, doing requests is just so much more trouble than it's worth. I don't really get any enjoyment out of it, and it basically feels like trying to write essays for school. I'm sick of the whole request taking thing, and that's why the requests have been going so damn slowly, because I just have not wanted to do them. So I'd rather not accept requests at all anymore, rather than make people wait 6+ months for their requests to finally be finished. I didn't join Deviantart just to take requests from random strangers, and I want to be able to do my own drawings again. I've seen a lot other artists who don't take requests at all, period. And honestly, I don't blame them, because like I said, requests are so much more trouble than they're worth. If I could have forseen how ridiculously out of hand taking requests would get, then I would not have even bothered opening them in the first place 2+ years ago.

I will still finish the rest of the remaining requests in this list eventually, but after that, requests will be completely done. There will not be another next time. If anybody still wants a request, then you'll just have to go ask some one else. I'm really sorry everyone, but this just isn't worth it.
